The problem:

Upon implimenting a new document mangement system; the University had over 1 million HRIS and patient records to backfile scan, index, and import into the new system. However, deadlines, capital expeditures of specialized equipment, and limited labor resources were obstructing thier ability to fully utilize the new document management system.

The Solution:

Customer outsourced the records to Data2CD for conversion. A custom solution was developed to ingest the scanned images, extract meta data, create the database, manipulate and parse records into acceptable format for importing, and importing the completed solution into the new document management system.
